2014 Matters event series: People, Planet and Scotland's Future

In 2014, Scotland will vote on whether or not to become an independent country.  What impact will this have on the environment, poverty and global justice?  We’re coming together to ask these questions and explore how Scotland can make the world a better place.

During 2014, a series of public events with thought-provoking and prominent writers, thinkers, campaigners and politicians will challenge five topics:

This first 2014 Matters event, focusing on Justice in Foreign Policy, Immigration and Human Rights, took place in Edinburgh on Tuesday 28th January 2014.

Event series organised by Stop Climate Chaos Scotland, Friends of the Earth Scotland, Jubilee Scotland, NIDOS, People and Planet, WDM Scotland and WWF Scotland.
