A Rocha is a Christian environmental and nature conservation movement. Our name is Portuguese for 'the rock' - our first initiative was a field study centre in Portugal. Our projects are frequently cross-cultural in character and share a community emphasis, with a focus on science and research, practical conservation and environmental education.

Big Green Jewish brings together a range of Jewish organisations to work towards a more sustainable future and use of our precious earth’s resources. We do this by providing educational resources linking Jewish teaching with contemporary environmental topics, such as our edible garden and carbon ration resources. We also share materials and campaign information, including SCC campaigns, with our supporters and run activities for young people and adults at synagogues and schools.

Humanists for a Better World (www.h4bw.org.uk) is a "special interest" sub-group, run by volunteers and mainly web-based, of the British Humanist Association (www.humanism.org.uk), the national charity working on behalf of non-religious people who seek to live ethical and fulfilling lives on the basis of reason and humanity.

CAFOD is the official Catholic aid agency for England and Wales. We work with partners across the world, wherever the need is greatest, to bring hope, compassion and solidarity to poor communities, standing side by side with them to end poverty and injustice. We work with people of all faiths and none. We work with more than 500 partners overseas, and with partners in the UK - all working to reduce poverty. Inspired by Scripture and Catholic Social Teaching, and the experiences and hopes of people living in poverty, CAFOD works for a safe, sustainable and peaceful world.

Christian Aid is a Christian organisation that insists the world can and must be swiftly changed to one where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty. We provide urgent, practical and effective assistance where need is great, tackling the effects of poverty as well as its root causes.

Ordinary Christians, Extraordinary Times: Christian Ecology Link (CEL) believes we are responsible for our impact on God’s creation and helps members to understand and relate these responsibilities to their faith. CEL works with those of any faith or none whose concern is for the well-being of, and justice for, the whole earth community. CEL runs Ecocell 1 and 2: Lifestyle programmes for community groups to work towards low carbon discipleship, to lessen our impact on the earth and live more joyously on it.

The Church of Scotland is concerned that climate change poses a serious and immediate threat to people everywhere, particularly to the poor of the earth; and that climate change represents a failure in our stewardship of God's creation. We accept the need to reduce the emissions of greenhouse gases urgently to avoid dangerous and irreversible climate change; and to promote a more equitable and sustainable use of energy.

We are Columban priests and lay missionaries, called to be a missionary presence in Britain and work for Justice, Peace and the Integrity of Creation. Climate Change is a priority issue, and indeed is seen as a challenge to be missionary in a new ways in the 16 countries where Columbans work.

Commitment for Life is the world development programme of the United Reformed Church. It encourages participating churches to take action, pray and give for people across the world but especially in our four partner countries of Bangladesh, Jamaica, Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory and Zimbabwe. We work in partnership with Christian Aid and The World Development Movement raising over half a million pounds a year from contributing churches.

Eco-Congregation Scotland is an ecumenical movement which helps churches link environmental issues to their faith and take action in their church and local community. We are concerned about the impact climate change is having on the world's poorest people. We believe that faith can be an important motivator in behaviour change and are working to harness this to reduce Scotland's carbon emissions. There are currently 286 Eco-Congregations in Scotland. 100 of these hold the independently assessed Eco-Congregation Award.
