APEUK

Artists Project Earth

Artists Project Earth has funded over 300 projects and awareness raising initiatives around the world that combat climate change and develop local resilience and solutions to climate injustice – and gives emergency funding for natural disaster relief. Artists Project Earth in collaboration with international musicians has produced three ‘Rhythms Del Mundo’ fundraising albums to date.

Cycling UK Scotland

Cycling UK Scotland is an elected volunteer committee of Cycling UK members from across Scotland, committed to representing everyday cyclists at national meetings and in responding to consultations. Policy topics include cycling as transport, land access, climate change, air quality, planning, road safety and wider transport policy which affects or is relevant to cycling. The Cycling UK Scotland committee also supports the activities and projects of Cycling UK in Scotland, promotes membership and brings Cycling UK members in Scotland together at an annual gathering.

Energy Agency

The Energy Agency is a non-profit making organisation, providing free, impartial and expert advice to households, businesses and communities covering energy efficiency, sustainable transport and renewable energy. The Energy Agency’s mission is to reduce CO2 and other greenhouse gas emissions, thus contributing to national reduction targets. The Energy Agency manage the Energy Saving Scotland advice centre for South West. It is tasked with assisting householders and local businesses throughout Ayrshire & Dumfries & Galloway to help reduce energy use as well as acting as a bridge between local authorities, consumers, trade, businesses and the energy market.

Healthy Planet - MEDSIN

We are a group of students from across the UK who want to raise awareness of the links between global environmental change and health, and to help protect and promote human health through adequate climate mitigation and adaptation policy. We are affiliated to the Medsin-UK as one of its activities and seek to promote and work towards solutions at a range of levels. Medact is a London-based health charity designed to enable health professionals to act on the social, political, ecological and economic determinants of health and health inequality. We are a charity for and of health professionals and others working to improve health worldwide. It conducts research and analysis. It campaigns and lobbies. It educates and informs. It is independent of powerful interest groups. It sees health through the lens of social justice.

MEDSIN UK

Medsin is a student network and registered charity tackling global and local health inequalities through education, advocacy and community action. We have over 30 branches in universities across the UK, many nationally run activities and several national working groups alongside collaborating with numerous external partner organisations both nationally and internationally.

New Environmentalist

We are non-profit society that campaigns on a wide range of environmental issues and offers advice to people volunteering in conservation projects around the world. We are London based however we work closely with volunteers and partners from South America to Eastern Europe, in areas that we believe have the best potential for eco-tourism.

Scientists for Global Responsibility

Scientists for Global Responsibility (SGR) is an independent UK-based membership organisation of about 900 natural scientists, social scientists, engineers, IT professionals and architects. We promote science, design and technology that contribute to peace, social justice, and environmental sustainability. SGR carries out research, education and advocacy work focused on four main issues: security and disarmament; climate change and energy; who controls science and technology; and emerging technologies.

SCVO works in partnership with the voluntary sector to advance our shared values and interests. We have over 1400 members who range from individuals and grassroots groups, to Scotland-wide organisations and intermediary bodies. Through lobbying and campaigning SCVO works to advance the interests of our members and the people and communities that they support.
SPOKES East Kent Cycle Campaign

SPOKES South Kent Cycling Campaign

An active campaign group set up to encourage cycling and publicise its benefits. We are based in the East Kent area of the UK but have an interest in better conditions for cyclists everywhere. We publish a free quarterly newsletter in which we air our views and the views of others on cycling issues and ensure its widest possible distribution. We also organise a full programme of rides and cycling events in and around Kent to be enjoyed by ordinary people.
