Islamic Relief is an international aid and development charity, which aims to alleviate the suffering of the world's poorest people. Inspired by our Islamic faith and guided by our values, we envisage a caring world where communities are empowered, social obligations are fulfilled and people respond as one to the suffering of others. Exemplifying our Islamic values, we mobilise resources, build partnerships, and develop local capacity regardless of race, political affiliation, gender or belief, and without expecting anything in return.

The John Ray Initiative (JRI) is an educational charity with a vision to bring together scientific and Christian understandings of the environment in a way that can be widely communicated and lead to effective action. It was formed in 1997 in recognition of the urgent need to respond to the global environmental crisis and the challenges of sustainable development and environmental stewardship.

The National Commission for Justice and Peace advises the Scottish Catholic Bishops' Conference in matters relating to social and ecological justice, international peace and human rights, and promotes action in these areas, both locally and nationally. Our current campaigns focus on Asylum and Refugees, Poverty in Scotland, Renewal of Trident, and Climate Change.

That’s why we’re here. Tidal works to support, coordinate and grow global activism in Leeds. We believe that strong, diverse and united grassroots movements are vital to sustainable change, and it’s our mission to help global justice activists in this city be as effective as they can possibly be.

The Low Carbon Communities Network links, networks and supports the rapidly growing movement of climate change groups that are forming at local and community level. We encourage the adoption of low carbon and zero carbon technologies and lifestyles at a community level, and to enable groups engaged in this to be as effective and efficient as possible. We make the most of the opportunities that the web presents in building communities and sharing information online.

MADE in Europe works to mobilise young Muslims to take action on global poverty issues such as climate change, maternal health and trade through campaigning, volunteering and education.

Medsin is a student network and registered charity tackling global and local health inequalities through education, advocacy and community action. We have over 30 branches in universities across the UK, many nationally run activities and several national working groups alongside collaborating with numerous external partner organisations both nationally and internationally.

MRDF exists to bring about significant and long term change in some of the world's most marginalised communities, and to empower people to change structures that are oppressive and unjust.

NUS (National Union of Students) is a voluntary membership organisation which makes a real difference to the lives of students and its member students' unions. We are a confederation of 600 students' unions, amounting to more than 95 per cent of all higher and further education unions in the UK. Through our member students' unions, we represent the interests of more than seven million students.

We are non-profit society that campaigns on a wide range of environmental issues and offers advice to people volunteering in conservation projects around the world. We are London based however we work closely with volunteers and partners from South America to Eastern Europe, in areas that we believe have the best potential for eco-tourism.
