We are a network of people and projects in Carlisle, that want to make our city more sustainable for ourselves and for following generations. We wish to help create a peaceful, vibrant, resilient future based on common sense, ecological wisdom and social justice.

Sustrans makes smarter travel choices possible, desirable and inevitable. We're a leading UK charity enabling people to travel by foot, bike or public transport for more of the journeys we make every day. We work with families, communities, policy-makers and partner organisations so that people are able to choose healthier, cleaner and cheaper journeys, with better places and spaces to move through and live in.

Swindon Climate Action Network informs people in Swindon and the surrounding areas about the problem of climate change and how to combat it.

Poole Agenda Twenty One (PA21) aims to encourage and develop a local sustainable community in Poole. We are a local group, formed of local people, working within a national framework for delivering sustainable development in the UK. We work with the Borough of Poole, and other organisations, and are committed to protecting and improving our local environment. We aim to increase local environmental awareness, encourage the use of renewable resources, and to promote the development of environmentally friendly homes, leisure facilities and businesses for all Poole residents and visitors.

Tearfund has a big vision which we've been bringing into being since 1968. We know there's God-given-potential in poor communities. We work with local churches to unlock this potential. With your help, we've seen millions escape extreme poverty - permanently.

Rather than claiming to have answers, Kamoto and The Green Living Movement offer a technique for exploring a situation that enables people to come together and work to improve it. Tipping Point Film Fund supports powerful cinema documentaries with strong call to action campaigns. We are a not for profit co-operative raising donations from individuals, groups and organisations in order to provide development and production funding, as well as campaign outreach support to each film. Our Primary Sponsor is The co-operative.

Transform Scotland campaigns for a society where everyone can have their travel needs met within the limits of a transport system that is environmentally sustainable, socially inclusive and economically responsible. We are the only organisation in Scotland making the case for sustainable transport across all modes. We have a membership of over 60 organisations across Scotland, including public transport operators, local authorities and sustainable transport voluntary organisations. Transform Scotland is a registered charity, politically independent, science-based and strictly not-for-profit.

Transition Linlithgow formed in 2008 primarily on the issue of Climate Change and the lack of local action. Since then, we have become a registered charity and official members of the global Transition network focusing on efforts which boost community resilience and sustainability. T.L. have created allotments, planted orchards, encouraged home insulation, raised the profile of local food, given energy advice to residents, project managed installation of hundreds of solar panels, assessed the need for improved sustainable travel infrastructure, operated an eco-advice centre and worked with local organisations to raise awareness of climate change, peak oil and economic contraction.

The UK Youth Climate Coalition aims to inspire, empower, mobilise and unite young people to take positive action on climate change for a cleaner, fairer future. We believe that to tackle climate change we need an inspiring vision of how we want the world to be and a movement that anyone can feel part of. At the UKYCC we place an emphasis on issues which relate closely to young people as part of a wider, cross-generational movement for change.
