FAIR PLANET FESTIVAL
A family friendly, fun festival, celebrating some of the many local groups working for a fairer and more just world, has been organised by the Oxfam and Fairtrade groups in St Margaret's Hall, Bradford on Avon on
Saturday, March 10th. from 10am - 3.30pm.
There will be lots of lovely crafts to buy as well as activities for both adults and children. Drummer, artist and story teller Kulchalee will be running sessions during the day and all will be free to participate.
Fairtrade refreshments will be on sale and there will be Fairtrade food to sample and tastings of Fairtrade and local wines.
The Green Room (Wiltshire Council supported energy advice caravan) will be parked outside the hall with lots of tips on how to make homes warmer and reduce carbon emissions and energy bills at the same time.
CFB will have a stall mainly featuring renewable energy and energy efficiency including some of the work of LEAF.
Help is needed! We are looking for a few more helpers for the CFB stall and also to help with refreshments, particularly in the afternoon. If you can offer please email Rowena on
rowena.quantrill@btinternet.com .
Would you like to demonstrate your commitment to CFB's work and
become a member of CFB? It will only cost a one off payment of £5.
You can find out more and download an application form here.
