Kenyan forests helped by 'Size of Wales' success

Woman and baby, WWF Size of Wales project, Kwale, Kenya

WWF working with the ‘Size of Wales’ initiative has so far raised over £230,000 to help protect areas of unique coastal forest in Kenya - contributing towards the Size of Wales initiative reaching its overall target of protecting an area of forest the size of Wales in Africa and South America.

Fundraising has far exceeded the initial WWF target, and will support our vital conservation efforts in Kwale and Boni-Dodori forests, along the coast of Kenya.

Watch this great short video (produced by our friends at the Great Primate Handshake) to find out more about our ‘Size of Wales’-supported project in Kwale.
