Route 21

National Route 21National Route 21 of The National Cycle Network runs south from Greenwich out of London through Lewisham (the Waterlink Way) to Crawley, and then via East Grinstead and Eridge to Heathfield and Eastbourne.

Open Sections: The route is open and signed as the Downs and Weald cycle route and is also part of the proposed Avenue Verte Greenway linking London and Paris via the Newhaven to Dieppe ferry. Visit the Avenue Verte London Paris website for further information on this route.

Map: Sustrans will be printing a guide book for the Avenue Verte cycle route which we hope will be available in Sping 2013 and will cover the entire length of National Route 21. The Sustrans RMC09 Sussex and South Surrey cycle map covers the majority of this route. For London section order the TfL cycle maps of London.
