Route 22

National Route 22National Route 22 of the National Cycle Network will connect Banstead (near Epsom) and Brockenhurst via Dorking, Guildford, Farnham, Petersfield, Havant, Portsmouth and the Isle of Wight between Ryde and Yarmouth.

Open sections: The route is open between Banstead and Batt's Corner, south of Farnham. It is also open between Havant and Portsmouth, and between Wootton and Newport on the Isle of Wight.

Map: The Sustrans RMC09 Sussex and South Surrey cycle map covers the eastern section of this route between Banstead and Guildford.  RMC08 Hampshire and the Isle of Wight covers the rest of the route from Guildford to the end of the route on the Isle of Wight. London sections of the route appear on the TfL cycle maps of London and Guildford to Farnham is mapped on the free leaflet 'Cycle Routes, Farnham to Guildford' available from Surrey CC, tel: 08456 009 009.
