Route 24

National Route 24National Route 24 of the National Cycle Network runs from Bath through Radstock, Frome, Warminster and Salisbury to join with National Route 23 at Eastleigh in Hampshire. Route 24 includes the Colliers Way, which connects Dundas Aquaduct and Frome.

The route is open and signed between Bath and Eastleigh, except for a few short sections: Bath to Midford -  due to open in April 2013 this Connect2 project utilises the Combe Down Tunnel (at over a mile long Europe's longest cycling tunnel); a section through Wilton; and a section through Romsey.

Frome's Missing Link
A petition has been set up to support the extension of the Colliers Way from Great Elm along the railway route into Frome town centre.

Map: Both RMC01 Severn & Thames and RMC03 Somerset Levels show Bath to Frome. Frome to Quidhampton is covered on RMC06 Dorset Downs, and Quidhampton to Eastleigh is shown on RMC08 Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Dundas Aqueduct to Frome is also covered on free leaflet FPT24 NCN The Colliers Way. Sutton Veny to Wilton is mapped on the Ordnance Survey Landranger Map sheet 184 Salisbury & The Plain.
