MRDF in numbers 2011/12

MRDF has published its Annual Report for 2011/12. Among the highlights are:

MRDF supported 50 projects in 17 countries of the world, focused on livelihoods, health and women’s empowerment.

Over £1m in grants were made for long-term development projects.

MRDF distributed £630,000 in response to 15 separate emergency situations in 17 countries.

The average income of farming families participating in MRDF projects tripled.

MRDF forged new partnerships in Ethiopia and India.

2,000 families in five countries accessed loans at affordable rates.

The launch of Iota, an award-winning new interactive educational resource.
