Thursday 11th April, 8am, London Lancaster House.
John Kerry, US Secretary of State, who will have the official role of Keystone XL tar sands pipeline approver or disapprover, is coming to London town! He and Obama have been met with anti-tar sands protests nearly everywhere they've been lately, including an astonishing 1000 strong protest in San Francisco this week. Now is our chance to show him that he can run to another continent but he can't hide from this decision!
We're planning to greet him with signs and banners outside the prestigious Lancaster House (SW1A 1BB) where he's meeting other G8 Foreign ministers for a pre-G8 meeting. The meeting point will be on the corner of Pall Mall and Marlborough Road at 8am (closest tube Green Park, map here).
Come and show solidarity with anti-KXL protesters in the US and anti-tar sands campaigners in Canada! Also join us on Facebook and Twitter.
