SPEAK's peddle-powered collaborative adventure is soon to begin this summer.
The idea is that a number of people embark on long-distance bike rides, linking up different towns and cities, and local SPEAK groups, accross the UK as part of one big cycle tour which aims to link up and support the scattered movements for positive change all over the country.
Those up for joining in could ask family and friends to sponsor their incredible feats of endurance, to raise money in support of SPEAK's campaigns. We can use these cycle rides as a roving platform to demonstrate sustainable transport, speak out for peace and justice, and celebrate and take part in creative arts such as music and story-telling.
Not a keen cyclist? No problem! We need people to organise events which the cyclists can visit and support on their way such as speaker events, cabaret nights, protests and non-violent resistance actions.
