JANUARY MONTHLY MEETING
On Monday January 20th 7.45 p.m. at the Quaker Meeting House, Whiteheads Lane
Please note change of venue and time!
This is our annual 'review' meeting where you have the opportunity to have your say on where we should be going and what we should be doing. We would like to extend sympathy to Arlene and Mark and all at The Fat Fowl for all the distress and inconvenience the flooding has caused, they have always been very supportive of Climate Friendly BoA and generous in their hosting of our meetings and other events.
Taking care of Bearfield: next Sunday 19th January 10-2pm. Please come along and help us to help the hedge and orchard grow at Bearfield. Tea and cake break.

FITZMAURICE SOLAR SCHOOL PROJECT
A big thank you to those of you who have already donated to the project - at £2320 we're already 14% of the way towards our £16,000 target, which is a really good start. If everyone on this e-mail list could find their way to donating just £5 this would bring in enough to pay for another 7 panels, which would be a huge step. You can either donate online here or send a cheque or cash to the school in Frome Road - details on the website.
We're now approaching local businesses with our sponsorship package, so, if you know of one that might be interested in helping do please get in contact with us. On Friday March 14th. we're running a fundraising quiz at the upper Masonic Hall in Church Street, starting at 7 p.m.; teams of 8, or just turn up and join a team. More details in the next newsletter. Let's hope that the update in the next newsletter will bring news of a big jump in the total.

We do hope you've been saving your seeds and are planning to come along next month. We'd welcome offers of home made cakes to serve for refreshments; please e-mail us if you can help, thank you.
