Dear [Jo Bloggs MP]
Re: The Big Climate Connection, 5th and 6th November 2010
I am writing to request a meeting with you on the 5th or 6th of November to discuss climate change, and related issues like energy security, fuel poverty, and jobs. This will be one of hundreds of meetings taking place between supporters of the Stop Climate Chaos Coalition and their MPs around the country.
Please could you hold time in your diary for this meeting. If you already know you will be unavailable on these dates please let me know so we can make an alternative arrangement. Other constituents of [constituency] may contact you about this lobby: we will be joining together to meet you as a group and will be in touch by the end of September to talk to your office about the specific arrangements (e.g. how many of us there are, a suitable location, etc).
I look forward to seeing you in November.
Yours sincerely
