Scotland to join global call for climate action

Edinburgh City Council Leader launches Scotland’s Climate March
 
Scots are being urged to join hundreds of thousands of people around the world in marching for action on climate change on Saturday 28 November.
 
Scotland’s Climate March is expected to bring thousands of people onto the streets of central Edinburgh, sending a message to world leaders attending the UN climate summit in Paris (30 Nov to 11 Dec).
 

Pole to Paris

A breakfast forum which will include presentations by Pole to Paris organisers as well as individuals from science, business and environmental backgrounds, including Tom Ballentine, Chair of Stop Climate Chaos Scotland.
 
This event will be followed by a fun run leaving from the ECCI building at around 11am.
 
This event will signify the beginning of the UK relay run and we are encouraging as many people as possible to join in. The route will take the runners through the streets of Edinburgh (about 3-5km).
