Stop Climate Chaos coalition member Be That Change invites you to join Wake Up: Walk Out: a day of peaceful action to demand that the Government commits to a 42% reduction in carbon emissions.
Wake Up: Walk Out will be on 26th April, a day when activists all over the country will be campaigning as part of the Ask the Climate Question’s Climate Change Day.
1. Wake Up: Send a wake up call to the UK Government by texting WAKEUP to 82222 followed by your name and postcode. Your message will be delivered, along with others, to Downing Street.
2. Walk Out: At 1pm on Monday 26th April stop what you are doing, wherever you are, and Walk Out. Go into the streets and send the message to the Government to cut carbon emissions by 42%.
Tell your friends, spread the word, tell the media, mobilise as many people as you can. Organise a walk out, record your walk out in pictures and film and upload to the Internet. Don’t forget to tell Be That Change about your event and share your photos/videos with them.
